This is my college magazine, I think that the coverlines that featured in my magazine were creative and if it was a real magazine it would appeal to my audience. I think that my image could have looked more professional by having a brighter background, however i captured a shot, meaning it is a medium close-up and he is smiling which is relevant to my featuring headlines. I think that the colour scheme goes well together and it is eye-catching. The fact that I said my magazine was free and fair considering the amount I put in my magazine because people want products that are worth what they paid for. Having the word 'PLUS' makes a reader more intrigued and I think I captured that.
My contents page is plain, simple and bright. I think there could have been more images to make it look more visual. I think that layout of my contents page is creative because in an average magazine the numbers are usually after the title of the pages. The colours and the font was consistent and decided to do that because I think it looks nice.
hey bille both of your covers looks really good and original i would say. For your front cover you've used different colours for the headings and the masthead is quite catchy and will attract your audience. You have used typical codes and conventions of a magazine. But i would say your background looks bit dark so try to make the background bit like white i mean so its easy to understand the background. On the other hand your contents page looks really good and cool, its like a fashion magazine content page. You've got interesting teasers and it looks really good. But i would say add bit of images in terms of making it look bit vivid/colourful. :)

ReplyDeleteI think that your cover lines are interesting which draws attention to your magazine. I think that your colour scheme is consistent on your front cover. However, I think that you could have kept this consistency through out both pages. Your model suits the cover lines. Adding free things into the magazine appeals to the audience which draws them in. Apart from keeping your work consistent, good work!
